Astronomy Club at USC

Welcome to the Astronomy Club at USC!  We are a student-run group interested in learning about and discussing astronomy. Click here to access the club image gallery.

Our weekly meetings give members the opportunity to learn about and share topics that they find interesting. Other perks of joining the club include:

Telescope training

- Attending talks from guest speakers

- Private visits to the Melton Memorial Observatory

- Taking trips to local observatories, museums, and planetariums

- Travel outside the city once per semester to stargaze under dark skies

All majors are welcome and there are currently no dues for joining! Check out our Facebook page for club updates and interesting astronomy articles. If you have a fascination with space or simply want to learn more about the universe, join us and let's study the cosmos together!

Upcoming Events:

Friday, April 22nd - End of the semester pizza party! We will eat pizza while watching Interstellar.
